HH:MM:SS Clock Visual

HH:MM:SS Clock Visual - 01/09/2001 22:21

OK, let me make it official. I would *really* like an HH:MM:SS clock visual in big/basic/block mode. I have been looking at other options for in-car clocks (such as Oregon Scientific radio clocks and other models) and the choices aren't good. Most of these consumer-oriented backlit clocks do not display seconds. The Empeg stands the best chance of providing a clock that can be synched to GPS/radio and that has a display large/bright enough to be read by both driver and navigator. The closest thing I have right now is a ratty kitchen timer with big, readable digits but which loses > 10 seconds per hour. Help!

OK, plus, it would just be *sooo* cool to have the Empeg do this. Hmmmm. If I were highly motivated, it seems like it should be possible to have a completely separate clock program load on boot-up instead of the player, eh? If I could find one or (shudder) build one. We rarely listen to tunes while in the midst of a rally...

Thanks. I probably missed it, but when I read responses to my earlier clock query, it wasn't clear if that V2.0 clock would come with a seconds function (thus my "official" Wish List post). That's great.

No, I think Jim is right in asking for it.

If I recall correctly, the Big Clock visual demonstrated at the Woodside meet had no seconds, only hours and minutes.

So this is still a valid "wish".

All wishes are valid. It is just a matter of "when"... I know the clock visual is in 2.0, but I was unaware of the specifics. Still, I have yet to have any visible clock in my car that seemed to match any other clock...
