I LOVE the soup views and I really REALLY want them on the player! It was mentioned that they'll be coming in a post-2.0 release. Is there anything in particular keeping this from happening? I think they should get their own menu rather than being under "playlists" but others may argue...

Everything will be under a "Select Music" menu (not necessarily called that. The next level will have Playlists, Artists, Albums, Genre, Tracks etc. This is not unlike the Receiver (but more similar to another product, for which Soup was originally developed).
