Alarm clock... on EMPEG - 19/02/2002 03:05

I just recived one week ago my first 10 MB EMPEG... this box is a DREAM !
I'm have installed it in my car and at home, as HI FI system for my Bedroom...
I was wondering if it is possible to use it as alarm clock to wake me up, playing some nice and soft music...

You can't set it to a specific time, but with the Hijack kernel (see link top right of any page on the BBS) you can set it to start (or stop) playing after a settable time.
Also see the FAQ for Hijack.

Ah, well then, there you go, then. Already there. Just set the timer when you go to bed.

I'm (slowly) working on an alarm clock application which will bind to the Hijack menu and allow you to do exactly what you want. It's not ready yet and I don't make promises with release dates, but I have a lot of the groundwork finished. Stay tuned to the Programming forum for an announcement in the future.

Yeah, get to it! Of course I won't really need it until I start and finish my enclosure. But I'm at my wit's end having to wake up to normal radio.
