Due to the high density of music near the empeg-car CPU it sometimes suffers from spurious quantum effects which show themselves by causing time to run backwards for an absurdly short period of time. Since the IR driver uses the time between pulses to recognise the waveform it gets rather confused when this happens. With the fabric of spacetime falling apart all around it tries to cause the return of normality by emitting the above noise.
Did I press the button too hard... =)

I blame these quantum effects for me spelling Strange wrongly.. =)
