Consumer 9c. Try this:
Use the remote to increase the volume all the way up to 0db. Let the volume window disappear.
Now, press and hold the volume down button on the front panel.
Intermittently, it will freeze there and not let you go down from 0db (unless you press and release the front panel button).
I'm pretty sure this is an unwanted side effect of the new "0db resistance" feature that was recently implemented.
