emptool can´t find my empeg

emptool /the 11a-version) can´t find my empeg unit:

emptool /dev/ttyS0
2000 checking connection
4002 Unit not found, check cabling and setup

(it´s the correct port, ugclient and terminal-connections to the empeg are working :-)

according to the man page, you might try:

emptool --serial /dev/ttyS0

For what it's worth, emptool (v0.89 the b11a version) has been working, just fine, for me, and USB has been working as well ...

argh... emptool stil wont run :-(
Is there anyone who got the emptool11a version working (with a serial connection) ?
