3 Ethernet entries. - 25/08/2000 16:28
Anyone else get this?
When I start emplode, I see 3 entries for Ethernet...
Doesn't seem to have any affect on anything, but it is curious...

I see 3 entries for Ethernet...
Odd, I have 2 entries for Ethernet (identical ones) . . .
Doesn't seem to have any affect on anything, but it is curious...
Even odder, my Ethernet link is now completely broke; have reverted to USB . . .
(Did report this to Roger)

I see this. I cannot update via ethernet as it fails at stage 5. Just been using USB & have been lame & not submitted a bug report.

Windows (particular 98) does strange things with down PPP (Dialup) connections. We've fixed this one, so that only up interfaces are broadcast to. This'll be in a later release of emplode.
Roger - not necessarily speaking for empeg

So basically you get as many empegs shown in emplode as you have network interfaces in Win98???
uhhhh I wish Windows could do alias interfaces and the units were true, not just phantoms on the 'net...
