Press & Hold Volume button doesn't do anything

Press & Hold Volume button doesn't do anything - 17/10/2001 13:15

Hi all,

It used to change from info->visual and vica versa, but I can't get it to do anything in 2.0 Beta3.

Didn't see anything about this in the release notes, so guessed it was a bug.

Cheers,

Paul.

The empeg team is currently deciding what to do with that. There are a few different ideas they've been kicking around. The next release will probably have something useful for it to do.

That's a real pity, I really liked the previous functionality, especially with the 'default to full screen info' behaviour.

You can still do that. Before, it simply duplicated the "down" button behavior. The down button still works as it always had.

Aaah, didn't know that - I've always used the volumn knob....

Groovy!

It works really well now as the entry into the BreakOut game!

I thought it used to always get you straight to the Info: Off setting from your current Info: setting and then back to Info: Track. Now it just toggles between your current setting and Info: Off even if your current setting is already Info: Off meaning it doesn't actually do anything.
