Seek failures

Seek failures - 18/10/2001 14:08

When I rewind a tune, or fast forward enough to exhaust the buffered data, I get a lot of these on serial:
E !! mp3_decoder.cpp 1052: Failed to seek to offset 2930802, error=0xc0044000

E !! mp3_decoder.cpp 1047: Failed to find valid sync after seeking to offset
2930802, error=0xc0044000

I don't hear anything unusual, though.

Update: having terminal window open all the time I see that those seek errors are rather common. For example, I quit the player to try something from the shell; upon return few tenths of a second of a song got repeated (say, two sylables - that's how I noticed), and seek error message appeared.

I'm getting the same thing. I thought it had to do with the hack I was trying to get going, but it's still there after a clean install of 2.03 so I guess it's not the hacks.
