If I mark a track for attention, then power off the player, that track will not be marked when the player boots up again. If I let the song finish and it moves on to the next song, it remembers the mark. I tried marking a longer track right when it started, then powering off towards the end, and it still didn't save, even though the hard drive spun up to buffer more of the music.
