Marking Tracks at the Player Fails

Marking Tracks at the Player Fails - 12/01/2002 12:11

No one responded with any real info in my original post, othen than a confirmation, so I'm going to assume that it's a bug.

If I use my Kenwood remote to mark a track by pressing 4, it is not marked within Emplode. If I check the Marked checkbox within Emplode, it remains marked properly. So it appears that the player is not marking the tracks properly, or at all.

What happens to me is that if I mark/unmark tracks from the front buttons or from the remote it is fine.
If i do that from emplode, tracks are shown as marked, but actually they are not: next resync they are in the state they were before I did anything in emplode.
Already mentioned this and empeg ppl said it is a known bug.
Hope this helps.

When you mark the track from the remote, does it have a little !! at the bottom of the screen by the track count? Also are you pressing and holding the 4 key, or holding it down?

Hmmm. This bug no longer seems to be real. I've tried it again in recent times and now it works. Go figure. I suppose it's possible I was being an idiot, but I did try it many times. Also, while the little ``Marked'' popup on the player did show up, I don't remember the ``!!'' showing up. I guess we can just count this as a weird fluke for now.
