Empeg (w/beta 11) turning itself on...

Twice now since downloading and running beta 11, I've had my Empeg turn itself on with no keys in the ignition after I got out of the car (this last time it killed my battery). Is it even possible that this is a software problem? I suppose it could be a wiring problem, but my player worked for months before with no problem. Also, it was installed by Abt electronics, who are the easily the best installer in Illinois if not the entire midwest. They'd actually worked with a few Empegs before they installed mine.

Suggestions/comments?

I was just about to post a similar occurance. Once, i killed the ignition and the Empeg continued playing for 5 seconds before turning off. Today I killed the ignition and the Empeg kept playing for a minute before I pulled it out of the sled. And, I once caught the standby LED pulsing 4 hours after I had left the car. This is only noticed in beta 11.

Wow, this explains why my otherwise perfectly good battery was dead one day! Hehe, uhh, now I know my neighbors aren't crazy too ...they swore my car was playing some loud bass by itself... I thought they had gone loony! Damn, Mystery solved! Anyone got the bug zapping ray aimed at this one?

yup ive cuaght my player doing this a few times.. i thought it was just maybe a messed up wiring job.. a simplie solution i found was just to go into emplode and set the shut of time for 1sec. and i havent seen the problem since.
