For the last six months since one of the pins broke off my AC adaptor, I've been using one of those PCI gizmos that takes the power from your PC, it powers my Karma at the same time, costs less and cuts down on the number of plugs.

Not a US one, I'm afraid - I don't know the manufacturers name: http://www.maplin.co.uk/products/module.asp?CartID=040324140056374&moduleno=32465

Looks like you set what voltages you want for each jack by moving jumpers around.

It has one set 12v output and the other one somehow finds its own voltage, I don't know how, but it seems to do so effectively: I've checked it with a multimeter!
For your benefit, I crawled round the back at the weekend: It's made by Hama, but I can't find it on their website.
They claim worldwide distribution, but don't seem to have anyone in the US, which cuts out a rather large chunk of the world!!
