I'm trying to run jreceiver on a Gentoo Linux server. The first time I set Jreceiver up everything worked. However, after re-booting Jreceiver refuses to work. Jetty works, I'm not familiar with Mysql but it seems to be working, java works, but I can't get the web interface for Jreciever working. I'm pulling out my hair on this one. If anyone has advice or solutions I would be grateful.

I know it doesn't help, but my attempted jreceiver install on Gentoo failed too. I have up the effort after a while, relegating my Rio Receiver firmware empeg back to the spare box, and setting up XPLNet on my Windows PC that is always on in the entertainment center to drive my one real Rio Receiver.

You had a problem installing jReceiver or actually getting jReceiver to work? I have successfully installed the receiver portion and it worked the first time, but after restarting the computer it no longer works. I'm at a loss.

I had it installed and "running" but it would never serve music to the Rio Receiver, and the empeg running Receiver firmware would never find it as a server. Not sure if it still works, I think I pulled it all out of the server.
