Anyone know of any professional car installers in the northern NJ area? (USA). (for my empeg and amps) Everyone seems to have "quick and easy" installs, but nothing really professional. ... i mean, really professional, like the kind where the installers know what proper grounding can do.

I called around in Boston, not NJ unfortunately, and found a professional shop that does excellent installs. They are NOT cheap. The strip the seats out and do an great looking install. They will even build custom consoles that match your cars interior to house components. Check out http://www.cartunes.com. Ask for Rich Inferrera and tell him you are talking about the MP3 player that I had come in with. He can give you all sorts of options on what it will take to get it installed.

I have an appointment for the 09/11/99, (Sept 11 1999 for everyone else). They will rip out my head unit and changer and install my EMPEG (#31) with either ADS or Alpine Amps. I might go with the Alpine's due to total installation cost.

There is no going back now. What is the MTBF on the EMPEG, considering the warranty is only 6 Months? (Hugo???)

I will post pre, during, and post images of my car on my site so that you all know what it takes to get an install done "properly".
