Longitudes & latitudes are signed floating point values.
Positive values are east & north.
We always give longitude first.
Distances are in kilometers, in floating point.
The ``Turn Information'' section has a series of lines.
Each starts with a keyword.
Here is a description of the interesting lines:
TURN # lng lat ptNdx #pts turnDeg outHdg inHdg km text-instructions
TurnDeg is the turn, in degrees (-179 to 180): 0 is straight, -90 is left, 90 is right, 180 is a u-turn, etc.
OutHdg is the outgoing compass heading: 0 is north, 90 is east, 270 is west, etc.
Someday inHdg will be the incoming heading, but for now it's -1.
Km is the distance to the next turn.
This segment has #pts shape points, starting with shape point number ptNdx.
START lng lat {place-id} text-description
There's one such line for the start, end, and each intermediate point.
The place-id string is always in curly brackets.
The place-id will not have blanks, but may be empty.
