sync errors...help

mk2a, 2.11b about 10gig loaded, new, newbie
ok..
things were going just fine up till i put it in the car.....
found out how important playlists are so back to the desktop to emplode some.
a) reading the player configuration seems to take forever (nearly 3 minutes), then things seem normal...until....
b) when i try to sync the player I get an error right after it completes writting the player configuration (another 4 minute wait, 0x80072746 )
if I try to sinc again it halts right away and tell me "someone was here before us" (or error 0x80040017 )
if i close emplode and restart it the whole thnig repeats.
please note that what ever changes I have made in the first emplode 'stuck'....so in a way it works.
no modes or jacks yet
a search for the error codes came up dry.
ethernet....same set up, worked fine last week ???

If you don't have hijack on your player, put it on there and then try it.

Umm.. why are there 5 of the same replies? is the long read/write confuration normail? It should not take that long.

sorry for the mis-spelled posts-a-many.
the read / write time for my configuration is no less than 4 minutes (20gig with about 9 gig free). it works through it when reading, but the sync halts after it writes at the 'restarting player' line.

again, I'm not drunk, just stupid.

Your configuration problems are most likely due to a known bug in beta 11. Please click here for the solution.

a bizillion lines in my config.ini that I didn't need.
