maximum disc space utilization - 03/11/2002 15:32
I am really hitting the wall for space on my 10 G'er. With just over 3000 songs on the drive I ran into a sync warning stating that I did not have enough space on the drive to accomodate the songs I was attempting to download. It seems that the last 25mb of space on the disc is being reserved by the system for other reasons. BTW...the additional songs in total were less than 25mb.
Any feedback would be welcome!

Um, buy and install a second disk drive?
It's rather
cheap and easy.

If you're really pinched for space, upload the remaining music one track at a time. We overestimate the size of a track before it's put on the player. Once it's on the player, we know its true size.

I know this may sound stupid but I cut my hard drive usage by 1 gig just by checking my entire playlist in emplode for doubles. You may have already done this. I was suprised by the number of tracks that had been duplicated.
