Sleds Gone Missing!!!

My Mk 2 sled has gone. I don't know if someone has walked off with it or its gone into hibernation "somewhere safe". I changed cars a while ago and am now desperate to get my Empeg installed. What can I do? Anybody got one lying around? HELP!!!

The only thing i have, other than my own spare sled is the metal frame but it one of the ones with a bend missing like this. Most people shouldn't have a problem with using it. I did however. I have no use for it, you would have to make your own wiring loom, there's some stuff elsewhere on the forum about it. But you're welcome to it if you want.

If jaylward is not interested in your duff sled , i am interested , as my sled got squashed and my empeg does not fit into it very well.

I'll give jaylward the weekend to reply, if not then whoever wants it can have it. I would be easier if it could be picked up from my work. So I suppose jarob is the most likely. Bit of arse covering here, there is NO wiring harness. It's just the bare metal sled ONLY.

I'm very interested in your sled - but where do I get the wiring from?

If you do a search for wiring harnesses on the BBS there should be a couple of threads, i think one is for ordering the connector and the other is for a complete replacement harness.

You guys are aware of Rob's thread about making new metal sleds correct?

For Ref , i am in Cambridge, but anyhow.

I guess i'll just have to wait until the new sleds come available and hope that i don't wear down the casing of my empeg much more.

Again if the deal does not happen i would be very willing to pay postage.

Where abouts are you? Can probably pop it in a box and get it sent out though our work mail. So you can owe me a pint if you go to Amersfoort this year, I'm fairly sure I'll be there!

P.S. Had a look at the metalwork and it turns out it has got the bend in it, I remember know, the mists are clearing.... I returned the metalwork and then days later had my spare blow a fuse. David sent me a sled and then when he got the empeg for repair, he accidentally included another set of metalwork for the spare's return. So actually I was wrong, the sled metalwork is perfect, you lucky boy!
