I've trying to connect for sometime now, but I can't get a connection

Yeah, thanks Tony for rebooting the net. Everyone should of course keep in mind to e-mail Tony whenever you see a site down, just to make sure he's on it!

Remindes me of the story about the Windows user who deleted the Internet. Just dragged it from their desktop to the trash! How rude.

And there's the good old April Fools Day memo that warns that the internet is going to be taken down for cleaning. Emptying the bit buckets, filling up the buffers with new bits, restoring the parity and shaking the water out of the undersea fibers. You might not be able to log on on April 1, but it'll be working even better on April 2...

I wonder if it ever resulted in any traffic reduction...
