Pulling unit out of dash...SNAP - 26/04/2003 21:11

I broke the handle on my Riocar toady, while attempting to pull it out from the dash, upon inspection I found a screw missing on the docking connector, and the other loose. So the docking connector came out, fortunately after inspection only required connector on the mainboard to be reseated.

Im usually very careful as only the second time I've had difficulty in removed my unit. I don't know how I completely missed this being an issue, I knew that the connector needed to be loose. I did incidentally a few weeks ago tighten the screws (which were a little loose) holding the handle.

I've emailed Rob at support. Would I have to pay for the replacement handle?

Cheers,
Jabz

I don't know how I completely missed this being an issue,
Me neither, there have been posts on the BBS about it, and at least two FAQ entries mention it.
