No, it was the logged in requirement. I normally stay logged in forever, so I never noticed that it had changed. I missed it by that much...

Ahh... I was wondering why the huge masses of anonymous users had all but disappeared!
I'm always logged in as well so I didn't notice.

Is this going to be a long term thing or is it just a stop-gap measure for karma publicity? It seems like it might only be fair to mention to those anonymous chodes that there is a general forum you need to register to see, if it's going to be permanent. Hmmm. the forums seem to have slowed down also, but perhaps that's just my imagination because it's 5:30 and time to leave the office.

Yup, definitely sluggish. It was kinda slow when I got home at 4:00PM EST and it still is now at 10:00 PM EST.
For awhile there though I thought it might be me...

I stay logged in forever, but periodically without quitting my browser or changing IP addresses I find myself logged out. Very annoying.

Cool. We should do the same with Off Topic, Technical, and any other forum that's likely to draw Karma chatter.
