The article's interesting in itself, but the empeg, riocar.org, JEmplode (and emplode) get a paragraph to themselves on the third page.

Hey cool! Anyone know the person who wrote this? Is he among us?

He's mentioned the Rio Car (ugh, how I hate to use that term) once before, and only that once, according to Google. He's reporting about the fire sale (belatedly -- actually the last of the Carplayer units); maybe he picked himself up one then.

I have met several people who knew what the Rio Car was but had never heard of empeg.
