Warranty label cracked!

Warranty label cracked! - 25/09/2000 13:53

Shortly after having my Mk2 installed in my car, I noticed that the warranty label has cracked all the way along the seem to which it is attached. Has this happened to anyone else? Does this void my warranty? It would be pretty lame if my warranty was voided due to a bad warranty-void label!

This is normal. It will not void your warranty. The metal top of the player tends to flex and crack the labels. At this time, empeg is planning on changing the warranty labels, possibly by moving them to the inside of the player. Rob's last statement on this topic is here.

That being said (and my sticker being cracked as well) would empeg have a problem with clients removing the sticker? Sorry, but I think it looks tacky and should be on the inside of the player, not the outer case.

You'll probably find you won't be able to without destroying the label - they are designed to tear.

Razor blades and rubbing alcohol are all ready, but somehow I don't expect a 'go ahead' from Rob.
