Empeg Market Value - 20/07/2010 15:12

Hopefully no one bought an empeg as a monetary investment.…..

However prices may rise as it turns into an “antique collectable” rather than a daily use item.

I saw a show on the history channel (American Pickers or something) and it was amazing how much an old phone booth is now worth.

I’m glad I could find one. Mine is showing signs of its age.

The AUX out sometimes loses a channel on my player. I did trace it to the player itself. There might just be something with a cold solder joint. However it might be worse.

Pop it open, and trace the inside, too. I was also losing channels, which turned out to be a few bad resistors.

Lucky! I don't know how I missed this, I have a saved search on ebay for empeg, I've been trying to get my hands on a MK2 for ages but with shipping to New Zealand they're all more than I'd like to spend.
