Any way to suppress the boot logo?

Is there any way to suppress the boot logo? When you put in your own logo, it still shows the Empeg logo. I know I saw that on the BBS somewhere on how to do this, but now I can't find. Mayby I was dreamin'.

You can probably do this by patching the kernel...
Bobo had a patch to do it in 12b, I don't kow if it's still possible.
