Tuner Installation - 07/09/2001 11:39

Being a typical man, I only gave the installation instructions a quick glance before diving into my install. I have a lot of room behind my dash but there was nothing to which I could easily attach the tuner module. In a flash of brilliance, I remembered the bubble wrap that it came in and thought that that would make a perfect cushion for the turner and keep it from rattling around. It's been working fine for the last week. I just noticed today however that the install instructions recommend giving the tuner plenty of ventilation. What do you guys think? Should I tear the dash apart again and work something else out or should I just leave it alone since it's already survived this long?

Thanks,
Steve

The tuner does get quite warm; however, as long as the vents on the opposite side to the connectors are exposed it should be ok.
