Newbie user looking for answer - 12/10/2001 09:34

I've searched high and low on this forum looking for directions on how to install the automatic volume adjustment patch/hack.

I'm going to be receiving my RioCar next week. As I already own a NEO35, I've run into the issue of having to turn my volume up and down due to variances in recording level.

This is one of the Major reasons for buying a RioCar, as well as much better random play, better sound quality, etc.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

You can check out my existing install at: http://www.geocities.com/neo35faq

Should be pretty well covered in the FAQ in this entry.

Hmm. Re-reading, that entry needs to be updated. I'll re-write it when I move it to the riocar.org site.

First of all, the link to my logo editor is broken because my ISP scrod me (BOYCOTT EARTHLINK). And it doesn't link the new location to download pre-compiled kernels (which can now be found at riocar.org). Grab my logo editor via the link at the bottom of this message, and grab the voladj kernel at riocar.org.
