Blue Faceplates ? - 14/10/2001 03:45
Hello...
got my Tuner today. Works really fine, good job guys. I also ordered the color change kit and mentioned in the "Additonal Notes" form that i would like to buy another blue faceplate. As expected there was no blue one in my package. *sigh* But was worth a try :-)
So my question now: Is there any Chance to buy another blue faceplate ? Mine is really scratched and seems not to be AR-Coated, comparing it with the new ones.
Regards Janosch
Really happy empeg owner, can't waiting for 2.x :-)

If you have an uncoated blue faceplate, you can request an AR coated one free of charge by emailing
[email protected].
They are currently out of stock, but we should be getting them back from the coaters very soon.

Hi David.
This doesn't answer the original question: Is there a way to get a new blue faceplate? I did the same thing Janosch did (i.e. order a color change kit and ask for a blue faceplate (instead of the green one)). Would buy the blue one seperately, too, if that is needed to get one.

I think Rob said that purchasing blue faceplates should be handled through support (presumably they consider them spare parts now or something like that).

Well I did that about 3 weeks ago & to date have yet to hear anything. I keep reading they are being coated but that's been awhile back.

Well.. they're still being coated!
It's a bit specialised and takes about six weeks. Unfortunately the blue panels from the last batch were lost somewhere between contractors, so we had to get some more made. I would expect that they will be ready pretty soon.
