Is the display's brightness supposed to dim when I turn on my headlights? I hooked up the right wire, I'm sure of that, but the empeg seems to stay at the same brightness, lights on or not.

Turn on your headlights, then go in and adjust the dimmer, then turn off the headlights, and see if anything changes.
