Visualization Question. - 01/02/2002 16:33

How do the little people that dance know what to dance to. When I pause the music, they just keep on dancing. I'm seriously asking because I was wondering if they somehow read the id3 tag or the genre settings in emplode. I have noticed that they dance randomly sometimes. I mainly ask this because I have edited some ID3 tags to new categories and was wondering (if the visualization does read the id3 tag) if this could cause problems (besides the problem where if I hit info too many times while the people are dancing, it completely hangs and reboots my player). Do they just dance randomly???

I believe that those little fella's just dance and dance and dance. No relation to tags, beats, or anything else.

I've never once seen them get tired.

Not all of the visuals move to the music. The Dancing people are simply a set of looped animations that have no relation to the music.

Yes, Toby knew that would be the first complaint.

I'm definitly not complaining. My girlfriend was asking my why sometimes there are more people then other times. I suggested to her that it might be the ID3 tag genre. They she asked me why the people were break dancing to "Hard to say I'm sorry". I really wasn't quite sure how to answer that, so I figured I would ask...

Yes, that is the official line.
