VFD Brightness

I purchased 3 MK2a units. 1 I've never opened, the other 2 work fine BUT. I've noticed that the smaller (30gb) unit seems to have a display that is MUCH dimmer than the larger unit. I haven't used either one in the car yet (only as home sterio comps). Has anyone else noticed a diff in their display brightness accross units?

You may have the same problem that others have had. Try reading about it here or some other places in the faq. It could be that you just need to adjust the dimmer. If that doesn't answer you question, well...
