USB issues - 21/03/2002 00:58
i'm having trouble using USB with Emplode on XP. It works intermittently. Like last night, it worked fine; it got past "uploading tunes" but then there was an error when "restarting player", the songs still uploaded fine though. Then tonight, it recoqnizes the player in emplode, but then when i click OK, it says "There doesn't seem to be a player connected". WEIRD. I have latest emplode and hijack.
any helP?

This just tends to happen with XP, its a pain, but it happens, whenever it happens just pull out your USB connection and then reinsert it. If it happens at the end of a synch, then just hit synch again and it will finish, you dont have to upload again its all still there

This is a known bug in the current software. It only happens on Windows XP. They are trying to find a solution.
In the meantime, you can use Ethernet to work around the problem.

The good news is that Roger now runs XP and is experiencing all of the USB problems that have been reported. This bodes well for a fix!

More to the point, Mike runs Windows XP, and is _also_ experiencing the problem. Since he wrote the USB driver, this bodes even better for a fix.
