Well, his 10GB unit is currently selling for $380. I paid about $1200 (IIRC) for my 12GB one. That's $38/GB vs. $100/GB, or about one third (well, not quite, but much closer than one half).
Edit: I found the price. It was actually $1300, so that's $108.33/GB, which means that the CarPlayer units are selling for 35% of the original price, give or take.
