Keeping Visual Setting on v2.0

Back when I was using the software version that came with the unit, I had downloaded a visual hack that would remember the visual setting (instead of holding down button to return). Is there a way to do this with the newer 2.0 version?

Yes, it is an option in Hijack (link at the top of this page).

yes there is an option on hijack-kernel but it doesn't work for me...
i tried all combinations of "Restore Visuals (v2beta11)" and "Restore DC/Car Visuals" but i didn't get the visual/info-type when i cold-rebooted..
any idea on that?

This has also stopped working for me with the recent hijack versions (~v251). I haven't had time to nail down the specific release.

I downloaded the hijack kernel last friday and installed it.. so i think this is the latest version..
