jemplode cannot control play music??

why??

'Cause he hasn't implemented that part yet.

Hijack's got some great features in that area. Mess with that. Especially CharcoalGray99's XML interface to Hijack.

and I want play control on Macintosh.
how to do that?

You will need a PC to load Hijack for the first time, following the instructions in the FAQ. After that, a Macintosh using a web browser will work the same way as a PC for the HTML remote control capabilities.

PS: I am aware that it's possible to use a mac to write new flash to the player, but it's tricky and I'm crossing a language barrier here, so I'm trying to keep the instructions simple.

Has anyone worked much with OS X and the empeg via serial? In theory, OS X should allow similar instructions to be written as the Linux ones...

If anyone can get serial to work on OS X then let me know -- If you can, then jEmplode will work over it also.
