New player rocks! - 14/06/2002 10:27

I finally got my new MK2 48 GB player installed and running smooth. Thanks to all who helped and replied to my incessant, frantic postings while getting everything ironed out. Here are some pics http://www.mydot-com.com/empeg.htm

This thing is amazing! random play is blowing me away!

*snip* 'but when you say 'easy listening ' you don't mean 'easy listening '.....right? '

oh yeah, it's 400 hours of lionel richie!

actually it's quite the mix, from the Pixies to the Rolling Stones to Aphex Twin to The Strokes to Phish to Uncle Tupelo to Fugazi to Public Enemy to Bjork etc...

i have been into amassing music since i was twelve and have acquired an exteremly diverse taste

i am curious, what kind of music do the others on this forum have in their player??

This is a very diverse group, and the music we keep on our players runs literally the entire gamut of available music.

Looks good. I'm curious as to how you interface the Empeg with your stock radio. Thanks.

the factory HU is going into the Empeg aux in. The empeg is now the master. The empeg is going out to an amp. If i want to listen to a cd, cassette, or the radio for some strange reason, I just switch the empeg to auxillary mode and turn on the factory HU.

A line-level converter was needed as well.
