I have done some really awful things in cars and have never lost my license for more than a month. I'm very curoius as to what this guy got caught doing.

Even then... i can't imagine what i could possibly have done to get my license taken for TWO YEARS by my partents. That is a LONG freaking time especially as a teenager!

If WI has the same law as NY, a DWI while under 21 means license revoccation for 1 year or until your 21st birthday, whichever is longer.
