FS: MKIIa 10GB Empeg

I am selling my last Empeg for $200 + shipping. I'm not sure what is happening with it but on long drives after about an hour or so, it seems like the heat is causing it to skip/pause? After the unit cools down it works fine. The unit also comes with a remote, sled, install CD, and power supply. It will be shipped in the original box also.

I've had the Empeg for over 2 years, sold over 40 units on this board and wanted to thank everyone for the experience!

Have you replaced the IDE cable?

I had one of the defective ones, and when the symptoms manifested themselves, at first they were similar to yours.

The good news is that you don't need a new cable to fix it. Just use the other header on the cable. Worked for me.
