Not sure of anyone out there has empeg parts they want to get rid of, but I'm looking for a new motherboard for my empeg. I just want to be sure that it works. I will pay for the board and the shipping.

Off topic, but curious.. what's wrong with your existing main board? Or do you not actually have one?

Yep, I'm the author of "Tale of Woe"

I'm not sure which will be easier, getting a new motherboard or getting the broken inner traces fixed. I can't even be sure that there is only one that is broken!

The 2 least available components are motherboards and display boards. Unless Rob Schofiel has any spare motherboards (or can repair yours), the best bet might be to buy a working unit, transplant drives if necessary and sell on the working bits of the broken unit.
