FS: tuner and MKll sled

FS: tuner and MKll sled - 04/03/2006 14:55

I need to pay for my new Dyson vacuum so I need to sell off some extra items. I have an original tuner that I am willing to part with for the right amount of money and an unused sled that has all the wiring needed. I also have a MKl sled I could sell.

I'm not sure what the going rate on these are, but make me an offer I can't refuse

Dyson's aren't cheap.

Hello,
What sort of price did you have on mind for the tuner?
Thank you,
Juan

Both are now sold and will be off to their new homes soon. I may someday regret selling the tuner but I don't have the empeg in my Ford Ranger and don't plan on installing in there.

Laura,
I know you and Dyson will be very happy together...I actually do the vacuuming most of the time at our house, and it is almost as bitchin' as the empeg...hmmm....I wonder if I could install the empeg in the Dyson.....hmmmm.....

Well, to be honest, I have 2 Dysons. The DC11 canister is now parked in the basement where it works great for vacuuming the concrete floor and steps and braided rug. It's a pretty expensive vacuum for keeping in the basement but it just wasn't cleaning the pile carpet well at all. The new upright does a great job. I would sell the canister but vacuuming sure beats the hell out of sweeping the floors plus it still is better then the upright for some things.

Is it that the canister doesn't have a powered beater bar?

It does, but it gets clogged up so easily and it doesn't seem to turn much when it's down on the carpet no matter what I do to it. Turns fine on the area rug that I have. Maybe that is why they quit selling it in the US or maybe I should send off a complaint to Dyson.
