FS: BRAND NEW MkII 20GB

You guys have no idea how tough this is for Kelly. But she needs me to sell her empeg that she got during the fire sale but never got to install. She needs the money. She didn't even want to see the box... doesn't want to have to see it go! The guys at the meet last week got to hear her pine on about it.

It's a brand new, never installed MkII 20 GB, Blue lens in it's original box, including all accessories (remote, cables, CD, stickers, manual, adapters, sled)

Serial number 90000601.

I'll toss in a spare hard drive cable in case this one ever goes bad, and will check and solder the IDE header if any of the connections are shoddy.

No music has been installed. I think I installed 2.0 final a while back but that's all the action it's ever seen. Been sitting in the closet for years.

She'd like US$350 for it, shipped in the states. $325 if you're local Bay Area.

Well, after hearing Kelly "pine on" about it at the meet, how could we possibly make any kind of offer? The empeg represented her dreams of someday owning a car of her own, and now that she's actually bought a car, the uninstalled empeg represents those days gone by where her only worry was the rent payment on a tiny closet of an appartment.

Now school will be over soon, and she'll have to put her dregree to good use and get one of those Career things everyone's been talking about, and on top of that she's got a car to support with gas at $3.50 a gallon and SF insurance rates.

It's a much simpler life owning a car stereo and no car.
