I have a blaupunkt Travel Pilot RNS-149 GPS CD/FM/Etc. I am looking to trade for an Empeg player. Anyone interested, please post response.
GPS Unit comes with antenna, warranty, etc. It was bought new for 1400.00. Most selling used around 900 - 1000 without warranty on ebay.

So would Rob be asking as an interested party, or just to ask? I add that the unit has mutiple language capability and a 10 Disc Changer that goes with it......See, I like it, but due to a friend showing off the Empeg, really want to get one. So, he suggested posting here...

I was interested, as I'd like to get Nav into the Supra (sooner than empeg nav is likely to be ready) however it looks like you can only get US maps for that head unit.

Rob,
When I spoke with Blaupunkt, they assured me that you could get maps for Europe. As well, this is the same unit that is shipped standard in Mercedes M Class, so you can get the CD's from Mercedes World Wide. If you are interested, I would gladly do the leg work to verify that the CD's are available, just tell me what areas you would be looking for, as well as what you have for trade.
When I got the radio, the default setting was Metric, not US. The Blaupunkt salesman was surprised I purchased, as he said it did not sell well in US, sold better in Australia and Europe.
