The green is VERY green. DarkStorm's "smoke" plates match my car's greenish controls better than the Empeg green plates do. That's because the VFD itself gives off a "greenish" light. If your controls are a darker more vibrant green, then go with the Empeg plate, but you might consider the clear or smoke plates offered in
this thread.

If you do decide to go for the empeg green, the faceplates are now listed (but last I looked backordered) in the Sonic Blue e-store.
I concur with Tony, though. I have the smoke plate, and it is a much closer match to my dash lighting than the green.
