New MKII for sale - 06/01/2002 01:42

Hi all! I'm happy to be a new member of this BBS and a new owner of a 10GB and 20GB blue MKII. As I said in another post, I always dreamed of having a hard disk based music player specifically for the car and never knew about the Empeg. That is until I read a post at Anandtech.com in the Hot Deals BBS, mentioning the SB firesale. By the time I got to SB to order a 10GB it said that they were sold out, so I ordered one anyways and ordered a 20GB just in case the 10GB didn't go through. Well I was lucky I guess and got both. So I have to get rid of the most expensive one, and I mentioned that here a few days ago but no one emailed me. So I have the 20GB up at good ol' FleaBay, um, I mean Ebay and with Tony's blessing here is the addy: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1318600375

Thanks all,

Curly

PS. Email/PM/ICQ me if you have ANY questions!
PSS. And, oh yeah, my Ebay listing is Copyright Infringement free and Stolen Bandwidth free!

How convenient, your eBay profit will pay for your other player.

I find it odd that your starting and buy it now prices are so high. Generally what I have found on eBay is if you set the price low initially (All mine have started at chump amounts, like $1), they get more attention and sell higher. I sold my Mark 1 like this for $950ish, and I have sold both a PS2 and XBox on eBay. People tend to ignore the high starting prices, but if they are low, several people will find it interesting and usually create a mini bidding war.

Just my 2 cents.

Instead of the price reduction sale that SonicBlue did over Christmas, maybe they should have went to ebay with the entire inventory!!!

Drakino,

It's not odd considering my inexperience selling on Ebay :-P The price is now at $4.99 :-) Hopefully I'll get SOMEbody to bid now. Thanks for your advice,
