New SB or "aftermarket" faceplates in the works?

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but are there any plans to produce more MKII faceplates? It seems SB sold out of the faceplate kits rather quickly after the price drop, and now I'm left with this blue unit and orange illumination ('99 Civic Si). I tracked down some old posts describing 3rd party faceplates, but they were for the earlier Empeg version.

We have a very large number of faceplates. If the eStore aren't interested in restocking then I'll open up the empeg store to all customers next week.

Those 3rd party faceplates are also available for the Mk2. Check this thread for info. I have the smoke colored faceplate on my Mk2 and it's wonderful. Brighter than any Empeg factory faceplate, even the blue ones.

Whoa, you guys are quick! I'm glad that some are going to be available...if they don't show up on the online store, where should I purchase them from?

I read through the entire series of postings about the MKII smoke and clear faceplates (at least until the thread flamed out, hehe). I'm definitely interested in buying a clear one just for the heck of it. And word on whether you can insert transparent plastic sheets behind or in front of it to tune the illumination, or do such methods not have dramatic effect on the color?
