30 GB MkIIa, will consider trade for 60 GB - 11/04/2002 22:57

I have a used 30 GB and I want to trade for a new 60. I will consider a used 60 if in good condition. The 30 GB only has one drive so it boots up considerably faster than a 60 (with Hijack). You'll never fill up 60 gigs, so trade it for a 30. Unused memory equals wasted money which means wasted work which ultimately is a waste of resources such as food and water. This has an effect on the entire world economy, the most effected being people at the bottom of the barrel. No telling how many children in Africa are dying everyday due to memory hoarding. Serious inquiries only.

Don't hold back. You can do much better than 60.

Better yet, ditch the old 30GB drives and go for the 60GB drives! 120GB!

And, yes, it is possible to fill it. With my latest acquisitions, I am down to 18GB free...

You ever think that with less space, you're more picky with what you put on the empeg, and thus have a better selection of music?

If I filled up 120GB worth of music, I think I'd start spreading the quality of the music pretty thin...

But then, I only use it in the car. I guess if you're using it to store ALL your music...

I'll trade you a 10GB for that 30GB

That way you won't have to be concerned with the children in Africa.

Whatever you have, you can always use more. I thought that 1800 songs on a 10 gig player would be enough, that I could rotate them around.

Then I realized how silly I was. If nothing else, my empeg acts as a full backup for all my MP3's on my computer hard drives, which prevents me from having to burn countless CD's worth of backups (which I still do anyway ).

I want to get a hard drive the size of a vinyl record and just mount it in my trunk.

Would this be possible?
