Geez, Doug, can you turn it down?

What was it, Wagner or something? I thought you liked *nice* classical!

1812 Overture.

Those Diamond Audio dual voice coil subs really rock!

these folks

Every time I try to open that link in Netscape (I tested it six times just to be sure) I get the message "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor."

Then all of the Netscape windows I have open go away.

Internet Explorer opens the link with no problems.

Is this just my problem, or is there something at that link that assassinates Netscape 4.78?

Well, it *is* the Seattle Times after all!

I have that problem too when I have more than 1 Netscape window open before I click the link. When I click the link with only one window open, no problem.

Amazingly, it doesn't kill my NS 4.78 for Solaris, which usually crashes on every other page on the 'Net now days... Several Yahoo! pages kill it all the time...

Um, pardon me for being so out of the loop, but what are you guys talking about

Well, it's quite simple, really. Doug let his love of Tchaikovsky get a little out of hand and some houseboats in Seattle were damaged as a result. I don't think he'll do it again. Plus, it's not like he tried an exploit on this BBS or anything!

Hope that helps.

(Doug, I can't be sure why Netscape 4.7 blows up on that particular page -- if it is javascript or something my proxy probably blocks it -- but I remember that badhavior with Netscape 4.7)

There was a rather large earthquake in Alaska last week, apparently Doug's new sub enclosure caused it.
