Garlic Bread?

Garlic Bread? - 13/12/2002 17:58

Just seen Peter Kay's show at the Lowry Centre in Manchester. What can I say? Absolutely bloody brilliant. Completely new material, I think this guy just gets better and better. Loved both series of Phoenix Nights.... Needless to say his tour CD has been purchased, gaplessly encoded and is now sat on my main player .

Does he appeal to anyone else on the board or am I putting my foot in it like I did with the League of Gentlemen?

Anyone who doesn't know who he is then try this

And he won two of the British Comedy Awards - he seemed a little surprised. Damn funny. Definitely a close thing between him and the Office.

I had the pleasure of meeting him on Saturday. Unknown to me, my friends' uncles' best mate (tenuous i know!) did his wedding photos and we just happened drop by when he was looking at them! Lovely bloke, very friendly and talkative even though he was obviously tired from his run at the Lowry.
