Thats a very bad man.
He was making his poor motorcycle scream.
Although it did sound like it liked it...

P.S. uh.. how fast is 250 KPH?
Lets see, multiply... um, carry the one. Divide the remainder... 150 MPH?

I saw one of this guy's videos on tv. He's like a hero in france. The cops can't catch him and nobody knows who he is. They just call him the Ghost Rider.

Until they do catch him. You can get away with something like that 50 times, but they only have to catch you once.

Re: Crazy Guy Video - 12/02/2003 16:49

And, as much as the guy could just go hide somewhere and not ever get caught, that's clearly not what he's about. The last chapter of his story is already written, it just needs a date attached to it.

Heh, no kidding.

I see two possibilities for a "last chapter", neither one pretty.

155.

Here's an interesting fact for dealing with kilometers and miles.

Those of us brought up in the English measuring system (you know, feet, yards, furlongs, miles, etc.) have had it burned into our brains that a mile is 5,280 feet.

Well, a kilometer is so close to being exactly 2,000 feet less than that as not to matter. Mile = 5280 feet, and a kilometer 3280 feet. (3280.83 feet to be precise.)

Now if I could just come up with a way to convert dollars and cents into the British system of pounds and ounces without having to go through kilograms along the way...

You would love Getaway In Stockholm then. It is so good that there are folks like this, doing wonderfully stupid things so the rest of us don't have to.

The section where the Supra and the RS Cossie are sitting at 310km/h is just mental, as is the tactic they use for exciting Mr. Plod - come alongside and then floor it!

Oh, I don't know. Maybe his government will recruit him to work as an undercover agent which will allow him to do really cool stunts while foiling evil plots against the world.

Re: Crazy Guy Video - 13/02/2003 07:06

I heard a story from a friend about a guy who owned a really tricked-out Mini Cooper S in Sydney. He had a bunch of friends in the Police and whenever they wanted to go for a burn he'd arrange to be going along a street at a certain time. The police would all start up their sirens and the chase would be on.

All the traffic would be clearing out of their way as the posse and the Cooper S caned it through the streets of Sydney. And if they ever got too close to another police unit that might have the wrong idea and try to catch the guy, they'd all switch off their lights and everyone would slow down and disappear into the traffic...

Heh heh.

Yeah, but the part that I find really scary is the drive through Gamla Stan (the old quarters) - those roads/alleys aren't wide!

Well, don't know if it's the same guy, but these videos were definately from Sweden. In and around Stockholm by the looks of it (confirmed by some street signs in the second clip).

All in all from what I saw here and what I've seen from the french guy - the frenchman is a couple of classes more insane. The trip around Paris is just sick...
